Andrew Carnright is currently the Director of Adult ad Continuing Education for Orange-Ulster BOCES. As the Adult Ed Director Andrew works to provide numerous vocational and literacy course offerings for adult learners throughout Orange County. He works closely with numerous local agencies and work groups in order to provide the most effective and in-demand course offerings and support services to students from all backgrounds and demographics. Prior to his current position, Andrew worked for Orange-Ulster BOCES as the Hudson Valley Regional Adult Education Network (RAEN) Director, a Technology and Curriculum Integration Specialist, and as a Social Studies and English teacher in the Incarcerated Education program at Orange County Jail. Andrew attended SUNY Cortland as an undergraduate where he studied Political Science and Adolescent Social Studies Education and later received a master’s degree in Instructional Technology through the New York Institute of Technology. Most recently Andrew completed his Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership through Long Island University in June of 2018. Andrew lives in Chester and enjoys traveling and playing golf in his free time.
