Diego Morales is the Project and Construction Section Manager for Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. He administers a multimillion-dollar portfolio of capital projects within the operations organization at this energy sector company. He is a strategic leader with a proven track record of building and leading effective cross-functional teams, driving change initiatives, and implementing new strategies. Having a satisfied team which runs projects on time, on schedule, and within the scope of work is his main goal.
Diego has both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from City College of NY. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states and a Project Management Professional. Offering more than 27 years of experience within the Project Management, Design, Planning, Construction and Utility Industry in the United States and abroad. Diego’s specialties include: Site Development, Project/Construction Management, Permitting and ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and standards. The standards and regulations include, but are not limited to, construction safety/field service operations, environmental health, and corporate procedures. Diego combines his analytical, technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with his experience and education. As demonstrated throughout his career, he is a trusted professional with the emotional intelligence required to make immediate and positive contributions to various organizations and projects.
Currently, Diego is using his skills to lead an energy sector organization, including tasks such as management and construction functions associated with energy (electric and gas) infrastructure, facilities and environmental (remediation) projects.
During his free time, Diego enjoys many sports, particularly soccer. In addition, he likes to travel within the United States and overseas.
