Quality Bus Service, LLC
Michael Martucci is a life-long Orange County resident and is a 2003 graduate of Minisink Valley High School. Martucci attended SUNY Orange as a President’s Scholar and graduated with honors in 2005. Martucci obtained both his BS and MBA from Marist College and shortly thereafter found Quality Bus Service. Quality Bus is an Orange County based student transportation company that provides school transportation services to thousands of area school children each day. Quality Bus employs over 400 Orange County residents and has grown over the past 11 years to four locations: Port Jervis, Newburgh, Chester, and Goshen. Quality Bus Service was ranked as the 42nd largest school transportation company in the United States in 2017 and continues to expand in the region.
In addition to his work at Quality Bus, Martucci serves as the Treasurer of the SUNY Orange Foundation and has been on the Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2016. For the past two years, Martucci has served as the chairman of the annual SUNY Orange Golfing for Scholarships event which raises money for athletic scholarships at the college. Martucci is also the immediate Past President of the New York School Bus Contractor’s Association of Latham, New York. In his role as President, Martucci advocated for school bus safety throughout the state and was instrumental in advocating for legislation to prevent the illegal passing of school buses, and drug testing requirements for all school bus drivers. Martucci lives in New Hampton with his wife Erin, and his children Michael Jr and Elizabeth.
