Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan
Sarah Pruschki is the Communications & Program Coordinator at the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan. In this role she manages the marketing and communications of the organization as well as the scholarship and grant programs. She also serves as the Chapter Administrator for the Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Sarah was born and raised in Orange County and graduated from Valley Central High School in 2008, a year ahead of schedule. From Valley Central, Sarah went on to attend Mount Saint Mary College where she received her bachelor’s degree. While attending MSMC, Sarah was an active member of the swim team and the history honor society, Phi Alpha Theta. She also had the opportunity to study abroad at Oxford University in England where she discovered her passion for history and traveling. In her sophomore year of college, Sarah coordinated and directed an adventure race to benefit Transformation Life Center, a nonprofit rehabilitation center in West Park. Upon graduating, Sarah moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida for a brief while where she worked as a swim coach at Indian River State College. Upon returning to Orange County, Sarah worked at Walden Savings Bank as a teller and then was promoted to head teller. It was at Walden Savings Bank that Sarah learned her love for the community and her desire to learn more about it and give back. From here Sarah was introduced to the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan where she began as the Communications Associate. After two years of learning and growing within CFOS, she was promoted to her current position of Communications & Program Coordinator. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys a good cup of coffee, hiking with her dogs, CrossFit and running and has completed six half marathons.
