About the event

Join us for an engaging panel discussion featuring expert speakers who will address the human rights issues facing our communities.


During registration, you will need to select a workshop for two sessions, with four workshop options available. Each workshop is explained in detail below.


Workshop 1: Immigration is Our Story: Learn about immigration in the U.S. both yesterday and today, while also looking at myths and realities that negatively impact the narratives of our Immigrant neighbors. Presented by: Laura Garcia

 

Workshop 2: Conversations with the OC Human Rights Commission: Panel #1Join Human Rights Commissioners in discussing some of today’s most pressing human rights issues in Orange County, including: Health Equity, and Fair Housing. Moderated by: Lisa Mitchell Panelists: Dr. Ron Israelski and Robin White
