LO Network Community Guidelines

1. Our Mission

LO Network is a professional community built to connect, showcase, and empower business members. These guidelines help ensure every member feels respected, supported, and safe sharing their profile and expertise.

2. Professionalism & Respect

  • Be courteous. Treat every member with politeness and respect—regardless of role, industry, or background.

  • Use appropriate language. Avoid profanity, slurs, or any content that could be offensive.

  • Honor diversity. Welcome different viewpoints and experiences; discriminatory remarks aren’t tolerated.

3. Accurate & Complete Profiles

  • Provide truthful information. Your company, job title, bio, and social links should accurately reflect your professional identity.

  • Keep it current. If your role, company, or contact info changes, update your profile promptly.

  • Use a clear photo. A professional headshot helps others recognize and trust you.

4. Content & Posting Standards

  • No soliciting or spam. Avoid unsolicited sales pitches or repetitive promotional messages in public areas.

  • Stay on topic. Posts and comments in group discussions should relate to professional growth, networking, or shared interests.Respect confidentiality. Don’t share private company data, personal contact info (beyond what you’ve chosen to display), or other members’ details without permission.

5. Community Engagement

  • Be helpful. Offer advice, introductions, or insights when you can. Thoughtful engagement builds credibility.

  • Give credit. If you share someone else’s idea, article, or resource, acknowledge the original source.

  • Report issues. If you see inappropriate behavior or content, flag it for admin review rather than engaging directly.

6. Compliance & Legal

  • Follow the law. Any content that promotes illegal activity, discrimination, or harassment is strictly prohibited.

  • Respect intellectual property. Only upload or link to content you have rights to share.

7. Consequences of Violation

  • “Unpublished” status. Profiles that violate guidelines may be temporarily hidden (“unpublished”) until corrected.

  • Rejection or ban. Repeat or severe violations can lead to profile rejection or permanent banning.

  • Appeals. If your profile is rejected, you’ll receive clear feedback and can resubmit after making edits.
