The EDGE Experience

Eligibility, Tuition & Scholarship
To be eligible, candidates must work, reside, or volunteer in Orange County, New York. Selection will be based on a comprehensive application review by the E.D.G.E. Advisory Committee, not on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that tuition is set at $499 and is non-refundable, with a limited number of scholarships available. Class size is limited to 28 participants, so we encourage all interested individuals to apply!
Junior Leadership Orange Scholarship
The Leadership Orange Junior Leadership Orange Graduate Scholarship recognizes an outstanding graduating senior who has successfully completed the Junior Leadership Orange program and exemplifies the values of leadership, service, and civic engagement. This scholarship honors a student who has demonstrated meaningful impact within their school and community, embraced personal growth through the program, and shown a strong commitment to continuing their leadership journey beyond high school. The award celebrates not only academic achievement, but also character, initiative, and a dedication to strengthening our community’s future.
Award: $500
Scholarship Criteria:

Must be a graduating high school senior and a completed participant of the Junior Leadership Orange program.

Demonstrated leadership in school, community, employment, or extracurricular activities.

Active involvement in community service or civic engagement.

Submission of a 500–750 word essay responding to one of the provided prompts.

Submission of one letter of recommendation (teacher, employer, mentor, or Leadership Orange advisor)
