John H. Lubbers Jr. is an accomplished servant leader whose career has been dedicated to strengthening organizations, developing people, and serving communities. As Senior Director of Operations at the Regional Food Bank, he leads warehouse operations, logistics, workplace safety, and strategic initiatives that help ensure nutritious food reaches hundreds of thousands of neighbors in need across our region every year. With more than 26 years of leadership experience spanning the nonprofit, manufacturing, distribution, and hospitality sectors, John is recognized for building large scale high-performing teams and fostering a culture of collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

A proud resident of the Village of Montgomery in Orange County, New York, John finds his greatest purpose at home. He and his wife, Carmela, have built a life grounded in faith, love, and service while raising their daughter, Brianna, whose character and determination continue to inspire them each day. John credits his family with keeping him grounded and reminding him that life's greatest accomplishments are not measured by titles or professional success, but by the memories we create, the relationships we build, and the positive impact we have on others.
